• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in PowerBuilder and .NET/C# to support the modernization and migration of legacy enterprise applications. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Analyze existing PowerBuilder applications, including modules, DataWindows, business logic, integrations, and dependencies. - Migrate legacy PowerBuilder functionality and business rules to .NET / C#. - Contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and testing of replacement .NET applications. - Analyze legacy code, identify migration complexities, technical gaps, and risks. - Work with SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database dependencies. - Troubleshoot issues across PowerBuilder, .NET, databases, and integrations. - Document legacy application behavior and migration requirements. - Develop unit tests and validate functional equivalence between legacy and migrated applications. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, estimation, and Agile delivery. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 5–8 Years' experience. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - PowerBuilder: Strong hands-on development and troubleshooting experience. - .NET / C#: Practical development experience. - Legacy Application Modernization: PowerBuilder to .NET migration experience is highly preferred. - SQL Server: Queries, stored procedures, and database analysis. - Strong understanding of OOP, design principles, and application architecture. - Tools & Ecosystem: Git, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and deployment processes. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India. - Work Mode: Hybrid. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates, please share your updated resume mentioning total experience, PowerBuilder experience, .NET/C# experience, and current location.
