### Role & Company / Project Overview WalkingTree Technologies is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in functional, mobile application, API, performance, and automation testing, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, reliable software solutions. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Perform functional testing to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements • Conduct mobile application testing across different devices, platforms, and operating systems • Design, execute, and maintain API test cases to validate functionality, reliability, and data integrity • Perform load and performance testing to assess stability, scalability, and responsiveness • Develop and execute automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage • Identify, document, track, and report defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution • Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports • Participate in regression testing, defect analysis, and continuous quality improvement • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing • Strong expertise in functional testing, mobile application testing, and API testing • Practical experience with load/performance testing and automation testing • Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, JMeter, or equivalent tools • Understanding of test case design, defect management, and software testing methodologies • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Preferred: Previous experience in the BFSI, Banking, or Financial Services domain • Preferred: Understanding of banking applications, financial transactions, and security-sensitive workflows • Preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced product development environment ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India • Work Mode: Work From Office ### Compensation & Benefits • Work on challenging technology projects where quality matters • Collaborate with skilled professionals in a dynamic engineering environment • Expand expertise across multiple testing disciplines ### Application Instructions Share your updated resume highlighting your experience in functional, mobile, API, performance, and automation testing, along with any BFSI/Banking domain experience via the provided contact email.
