Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Hiring for an SFMS Application Support Engineer within Banking IT Operations / Infrastructure Support based in Hyderabad. The preferred candidate will have hands-on experience in SFMS application support within the banking domain. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Provide L2/L3 application support for SFMS. - Manage user access, system configurations, and certificate renewals. - Monitor and troubleshoot SFMS messaging queues and delivery failures. - Resolve connectivity issues between CBS and payment gateways. - Handle SFMS upgrades, patches, and version migrations. - Coordinate and execute Disaster Recovery (DR) drills. - Monitor transaction processing timings across CBS, Sender, and Receiver systems. - Coordinate with Oracle DBA, IBM MQ, System Administration, and IFTAS teams. - Ensure smooth banking operations and business continuity. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Experience: 4–6 Years. - Mandatory hands-on experience in SFMS (Structured Financial Messaging System) Application Support. - Strong knowledge of SFMS architecture and interbank payment systems. - Experience in RTGS and NEFT payment messaging. - Hands-on experience with IBM MQ administration and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of MQ queues, channels, and runmqsc commands. - Experience in Oracle Database and SQL queries. - Good knowledge of Windows Server 2019 and above. - Experience in application monitoring, incident, and problem management. - Knowledge of PKI, digital certificates, and certificate renewals. - Additional knowledge of Windows Server administration. - Understanding of banking payment systems and messaging workflows. - Experience with security tokens, service accounts, and password vaults. - Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Hyderabad, India (Onsite banking IT operations). • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can share their updated resumes via the provided contact number.
