Role & Company / Project Overview: Wizfair Travels is looking for a skilled Software Tester / Software QA Engineer to join its growing technology team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of travel and enterprise software solutions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. • Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend services. • Work with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent frameworks. • Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar tools. • Conduct database testing and SQL-based data validation. • Identify, document, track, and manage defects using JIRA, Bitrix, Mantis, or similar bug tracking systems. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders. • Contribute to QA process improvements, test automation expansion, and release quality standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 3 to 6 years of experience in Software QA / Testing. • Solid testing exposure across web applications, APIs, and enterprise software solutions. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Manual & Automation Testing. • Practical proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent automation tools. • API Testing proficiency with Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured. • Strong SQL skills and database testing expertise. • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bitrix, Mantis) and Git & CI/CD tools. • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Gurgaon, Udyog Vihar - Sector 18, Haryana, India. • Shift: Rotational shift.
