Role & Company / Project Overview: Colorshine is hiring an experienced Shift Incharge to join their Continuous Galvanizing Line (CGL) operations in Gudur, Andhra Pradesh. The role is focused on the CGL / Coated Steel / Steel Plant / Manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the line while upholding product quality, workplace safety, and high team performance. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead mechanical maintenance activities for the CGL line during designated shifts. • Ensure smooth and reliable operation of all mechanical equipment. • Handle breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. • Monitor equipment performance actively to minimize downtime. • Coordinate closely with production and other maintenance teams for seamless and effective shift operations. • Ensure full compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures. • Maintain shift reports, breakdown records, and comprehensive maintenance documentation. • Supervise and lead technicians and maintenance personnel on shift duty. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. • Total Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance. • Industry Experience: Prior hands-on experience in CGL, Coated Steel, or Steel Plant operations is preferred. • Strong mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown-handling skills. • Proven team-handling and shift management capabilities. • Dedicated focus on safety, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance practices. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, India. • Shift-based role supervising line operations across assigned shifts.
