Role & Company / Project Overview: Novozen is hiring a Senior Automation & Validation Engineer for a contract opportunity in Foster City, CA, supporting initiatives across Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, and Biotechnology. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Oversee and execute automation and validation engineering deliverables within regulated manufacturing environments. • Design, configure, and maintain process control systems (PCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. • Lead batch automation processes ensuring compliance with industry standards. • Execute computer system validation (CSV) protocols and verify system performance according to operational standards. • Ensure full adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of dedicated professional experience in automation and validation. • Hands-on expertise with PCS, PLC, SCADA, and batch automation systems. • Strong background and working knowledge of GMP regulations and CSV (Computer System Validation) methodologies.
