Role & Company / Project Overview: Novozen is seeking a Software Quality / Systems Engineer for a contract role based in Boston / Raynham, MA, supporting medical device systems development. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Ensure medical device software and systems satisfy relevant quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements. • Implement and maintain design controls and software lifecycle processes aligned with IEC 62304 standards. • Establish, execute, and verify requirements traceability matrices across software specifications, risks, and verification/validation testing. • Participate in risk management activities and support design verification and validation (V&V). Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 3 to 5 years of medical device software quality or systems engineering experience. • In-depth understanding and application of IEC 62304 standards. • Practical expertise in design controls and software requirements traceability.
