Role & Company / Project Overview Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent) is seeking a Sr Staff DevOps Engineer (IC4a) with hands-on experience provisioning AWS infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines using Git, and developing end-to-end data infrastructure with Terraform. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Manages the technical and strategic initiatives for a line of business. • Develops a cohesive approach for all projects in the LOB and identifies opportunities for optimizations and efficiency gains. • Is responsible for assessing, designing, and securing DevSecOps services and solutions on the cloud. • Takes ownership of and evangelizes best practices for an area of focus/tech stack. • Influences important technical decisions and supports their implementation with increasing accountability. • Programmatically creates infrastructure in AWS, leveraging Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM. • Enables the data development team to deliver new code daily through Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines using Git. • Builds data infrastructure related to an end-to-end data factory platform using Terraform and related technologies. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Hands-on experience programmatically creating infrastructure in AWS, utilizing Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM. • Strong experience with Git and setting up CI/CD pipelines for daily code delivery. • Proven experience building data factory infrastructure platforms using Terraform and related tools. • Strong background in DevSecOps services, cloud security, and technical leadership. • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Work Arrangement: Remote (considering candidates living within a 50-mile commutable distance of corporate offices in Evansville, IN). • Duration: 6 months with possible extension. Compensation & Benefits • Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent). • Pay Rate: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour.
