Role & Company / Project Overview: Cringe Education is expanding and seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or confident Teaching Assistant to join their Computing Curriculum team, delivering engaging lessons across partner primary schools in Enfield and North London. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Teach engaging KS1 and KS2 Computing lessons as PPA cover across partner primary schools • Deliver curriculum topics covering coding, online safety, digital literacy, and robotics • Confidently lead whole-class lessons • Receive full training, curriculum resources, and continuous support from the Computing Curriculum Lead Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven classroom experience and confidence in leading whole-class lessons • Previous Computing experience is not essential; enthusiasm and classroom leadership matter most • No Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required • Safer recruitment compliance required: enhanced DBS check with children's barred list check and professional references • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available) Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Full-time, permanent position • Working schedule: Monday to Friday • Term-time only, ensuring school holidays are off • Start date: ASAP • Location: Enfield & North London, United Kingdom Compensation & Benefits: • £30,000 – £33,000 per year (actual salary, not pro rata) • Term-time schedule with all school holidays off • Comprehensive training and teaching resources provided Application Instructions: • Email your CV and a short cover letter to the recruitment contact
