Role & Company / Project Overview: Accrington Stanley Community Trust (Registered Charity No. 113957) is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sports Tutor to join their education team. The role focuses on inspiring the next generation by delivering sport qualifications and supporting students aged 16 to 19 to achieve their academic and personal potential. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Plan, teach, and assess engaging lessons for sports qualifications. • Support students aged 16–19 to achieve their academic and personal potential. • Deliver high-quality education and training within the community trust's education framework. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Degree in Sport or Physical Education. • Recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above. • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people. • Full UK driving licence, access to your own car, and willingness to use it for work purposes. • Appointment is subject to enhanced DBS checks and two professional references. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent. • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. • Location: Stanley Sports Hub, Accrington, Lancashire, United Kingdom. Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per year, plus performance bonuses. • Pension scheme and work-related expenses. • 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays. • Free on-site parking and complimentary gym access. • Ongoing professional development opportunities.
