• Role & Company / Project Overview The Whalen Company is seeking Manufacturing Helpers to join our production team at our Easton, Maryland facility. This entry-level, on-site position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of manufacturing operations. Helpers work directly alongside different production teams, assisting with diverse manufacturing tasks while developing skills and knowledge to advance into higher job classifications as future opportunities arise. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Work alongside various production teams and support general manufacturing operations. - Assist with a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks and production floor activities. - Assist with lifting parts, tools, assemblies, and other materials as required. - Adhere strictly to all workplace safety guidelines, policies, and operating procedures. - Commit to producing high-quality work that consistently meets company standards. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Ability to follow all workplace safety instructions, procedures, and company policies. - Willingness to learn and become proficient across various job assignments and machinery. - Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail. - Strong interest in developing manufacturing skills, processes, and trade knowledge. - Physical ability to assist with lifting parts, tools, assemblies, and materials as needed. - Prior brazing or metalworking experience is considered an asset, but is not required. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Work Location: On-site at The Whalen Company facility, Easton, MD. - Shifts Available: First Shift and Second Shift. - On-site entry-level position. • Compensation & Benefits - Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour. - Pay Frequency: Weekly pay. - Comprehensive benefits (following successful completion of the 60–90-day probationary period and union enrollment): - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Company-paid life and disability insurance - 401(k) retirement plan - 10 paid holidays per year - Company-paid vacation and sick leave - Company-provided uniforms - Prescription safety glasses program and steel-toe work boot program • Application Instructions - Interested candidates may apply in person Monday through Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, or submit an application to Human Resources.
