Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview Projects Division is hiring an experienced QC Engineer – Mechanical / Welding & Fabrication to support oil & gas and fabrication projects in the UAE, operating in the Oil & Gas, Tanks, Skids, Piping, and Fabrication industries. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Conduct material, fit-up, welding, visual, and dimensional inspections. - Verify WPS, PQR, WPQ, welder qualifications, MTCs, and material traceability. - Inspect tanks, skids, structural steel, piping, and fabricated assemblies. - Coordinate NDT activities and review NDT reports. - Witness hydrotests, leak tests, and tank water-fill tests. - Maintain weld maps, inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation. - Support final inspections, FAT, project handover, and MDR compilation. - Ensure compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, project specifications, and applicable codes. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. - Minimum 5 years of relevant QC / Welding Inspection experience. - CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI certification strongly preferred. - In-depth knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and ASME B31.3. - Proven experience in oil & gas fabrication, tanks, skids, and piping. - UAE/GCC experience preferred. - ADNOC knowledge is an advantage. - Immediate joiners currently in the UAE are preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Dubai, UAE. - Industry: Oil & Gas / Fabrication. • Compensation & Benefits - Standard company package. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should apply via WhatsApp.
