Role & Company / Project Overview: Vyuhnet is hiring an Immediate IBM Guardium Resident Engineer for a large enterprise in Dubai. This is a full-time, onsite operations role (not pre-sales) owning the day-to-day running of a live Guardium Data Protection platform. You will serve as the single point of contact for everything Guardium between the client's database, security, and compliance teams. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Oversee appliance health and patching across collectors, aggregators, and the central manager. • Manage S-TAP/GIM agent coverage, including handling K-TAP and A-TAP cases. • Perform monitoring policy and alert tuning. • Conduct database discovery, classification, and vulnerability assessments. • Build and manage compliance reporting as expected by auditors (PCI DSS, SOX, central-bank, and UAE requirements). • Act as the dedicated liaison and single point of contact between database, security, and compliance teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 6–10 years of overall experience in IT security or database operations. • At least 4 years of hands-on experience administering Guardium 11.x/12.x in production environments. • Proven expertise in S-TAP/GIM installation and troubleshooting, policy authoring, report and audit-process building, and appliance patching. • Strong database-security fundamentals above and beyond the product itself. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. • Work Model: Full-time, Onsite. • Availability: Ability to relocate to Dubai and join within about two weeks.
