Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview Candidzone is actively seeking an accomplished, highly experienced Senior Traffic Planner to lead transportation planning and infrastructure engineering projects in Qatar. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead and manage comprehensive transportation planning and major infrastructure engineering projects - Conduct traffic studies, transportation modelling, and infrastructure design - Oversee urban street design, pavement rehabilitation, and railway engineering initiatives - Undertake site construction supervision and ensure full alignment with international engineering standards and codes • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree is considered an advantage) - Experience: 12+ years of international engineering experience, with at least 10+ years based in Qatar - Extensive background in major infrastructure planning, design, and on-site construction - Strong Middle East experience, specifically focused on traffic engineering and transportation planning - In-depth technical knowledge of urban street design, pavement rehabilitation, railway engineering, and traffic modelling - Solid expertise in traffic studies, transportation modelling, and infrastructure design methodologies - Thorough working knowledge of international engineering standards, building codes, and construction supervision protocols - Residency/Licensing: Must hold a valid Qatar Identification Card (QID) • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Work Arrangement: Full-time on-site - Location: Doha, Qatar • Compensation & Benefits - Competitive professional package commensurate with senior engineering credentials and experience • Application Instructions - Candidates meeting the required criteria should forward their CV for review.
