Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: A well reputed Multinational Construction Company is hiring for a full-time Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) position (01 vacancy) based in Notunbazar, Dhaka. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Create accurate Bills of Quantities from civil, MEP, and pipeline drawings, and build highly competitive bids by analyzing market data. - Identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and negotiate prices to maximize project margins. - Manage FIDIC and local contracts, prepare variation and claim documents such as Extensions of Time and cost increases, and negotiate settlements. - Prepare monthly payment certificates against approved BOQ, monitor cash flow, and report financial performance to senior management. - Communicate directly with local authorities including DWASA, DPHE, and LGRD to ensure compliance, and align commercial strategies with engineering teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering. RICS certification is preferred. - 12 to 15 years of experience in QS and bidding, including 5 or more years in a senior role on major infrastructure projects in Bangladesh. - Expert command over Bangladesh Public Procurement Rules (PPR), the national e-GP system, and FIDIC contracts. - Strong understanding of international funding frameworks such as the World Bank, ADB, and JICA. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and QS software like CostX or Planswift. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Employment Type: Full-time - Workstation: Notunbazar, Dhaka, Bangladesh • Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: Negotiable - Compensation and Benefits: As per company policy • Application Instructions: - Send your updated CV to the designated recruitment email address with the subject line format: SRQS - Your Name - Years of Experience.
