Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced, hands-on SAP FICO Functional Lead to oversee and direct SAP Finance & Controlling implementation, testing, and production support initiatives. First preference will be given to local candidates in Chicago, IL or nearby states. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead end-to-end SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) implementation, testing, and ongoing production support initiatives. • Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and comprehensive functional solution design. • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and end-to-end business process validation. • Manage cross-functional SAP integration testing across FICO, MM, SD, Group Reporting, and BI Reporting. • Lead testing workstreams, resolve complex functional issues, and independently drive project deliverables. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Overall Experience: 13+ years of professional experience. • Hands-on expertise across SAP FICO modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting. • Proficiency in Cost Center Accounting (CCA) and Profit Center Accounting (PCA). • Demonstrated experience with SAP FSCM, Accounts Receivable & Collections. • At least one full life-cycle SAP FICO implementation and support project experience. • Strong functional expertise across SAP Finance & Controlling processes. • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • Preferred: Tricentis Tosca test automation experience. • Preferred: MuleSoft or alternative middleware integration experience. • Preferred: SAP S/4HANA upgrade testing experience.
