Role & Company / Project Overview: Saveetha Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, SIMATS, invites qualified, passionate, and research-driven professionals to join our research team in Psychology. Positions available include Research Associate, Research Assistant, Project Staff, and Postdoctoral Researchers, as applicable to ongoing projects advancing psychological science, mental health education, and interdisciplinary research. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct innovative research and execute laboratory or field studies applicable to ongoing departmental projects. • Assist in grant development, project execution, literature reviews, and empirical data collection. • Analyze research data using qualitative and quantitative psychometric methodologies. • Contribute to high-impact scholarly publications and collaborative interdisciplinary health science research. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Postgraduate or doctoral qualification in Psychology or allied disciplines. • Keen interest and proven background in research, publications, grant development, and collaborative projects. • Specialization or interest in relevant areas: Clinical and Counselling Psychology, Cognitive and Behavioural Sciences, Neuropsychology and Neuroscience, Mental Health and Well-being, Developmental and Educational Psychology, Psychological Assessment and Psychometrics, and Behavioural Research and Interdisciplinary Health Sciences. • Prior research experience and scholarly publications valued according to the position level. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Onsite research position at Saveetha Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, SIMATS, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
