### Role & Company / Project Overview Smart IT Frame is hiring an experienced Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in OTT platforms, video streaming, and test automation to join their growing team in Chennai. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for OTT and video streaming applications. • Perform manual and automation testing across Web, iOS, Android, and mobile platforms. • Test live streaming, VOD, video playback, transcoding, buffering, and streaming quality. • Create test plans, test cases, and regression test suites. • Perform API, performance, and load testing. • Analyze application logs, network traffic, and mobile debugging logs. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 5+ years of relevant experience. • Domain: OTT & Video Streaming. • Platforms: Web, iOS, Android, and mobile application testing. • Automation Testing: Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks. • Programming: Java, Python, or Golang. • Performance Testing: JMeter. • DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. • Other Core Skills: API testing, debugging, Agile methodology, and SDLC. • Good to Have: - Knowledge of HLS, MPEG-DASH, adaptive bitrate streaming, and DRM. - Experience with iOS and Android network debugging and log analysis. - Familiarity with Charles Proxy, Proxyman, Android Logcat, or Xcode Console. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India ### Application Instructions Interested candidates can share their updated resumes via email or contact directly via phone.
