Role & Company / Project Overview: At Foodhub, we are reimagining Quality Engineering with AI at its core, and we are looking for a Senior AI-Native Quality Engineer to lead the way in Chennai (Work from Office). This is a permanent role where AI is not a side experiment, but an everyday working standard. You will test real AI products (LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and conversational AI), help shape the future of Foodhub's Quality Engineering function, ship fast across web, mobile, and API with frequent releases, and work side by side with Engineering and Product. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Build scalable automation frameworks with Playwright • Handle API automation with REST Assured and mobile automation with Appium • Build and manage CI/CD quality gates in Jenkins that deliver meaningful reliability • Develop AI-powered test generation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and self-healing automation • Design and implement evaluation suites that catch hallucinations, prompt injection, and unsafe responses • Explain root-cause details regarding why a failure happened, rather than simply reporting that it happened Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 5–8 years of experience in SDET / Quality Engineering • Confident programming and coding skills in Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript • Deep hands-on experience in Playwright and API automation • Active, daily usage of AI coding assistants in your workflow • Bonus skills: RAG, vector databases, AI agents, tool/function calling, and LLM evaluation Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (Work from Office) • Employment Type: Permanent • Joining Timeline: Immediate joiners / short notice preferred Application Instructions: • Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV via email.
