Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced IPDRG Team Lead (TL) to lead and mentor an inpatient medical coding team in Chennai. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Supervise, manage, and mentor a team of IPDRG and inpatient medical coders. • Monitor daily team production, accuracy metrics, turnaround times, and quality KPIs. • Perform audits on complex inpatient charts, resolve escalated coding queries, and conduct training sessions. • Liaise with project managers and operations leadership to ensure seamless delivery. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of professional experience in IPDRG medical coding with prior supervisory or team lead experience. • Expertise in MS-DRG, APR-DRG, ICD-10-CM/PCS, and inpatient compliance guidelines. • Strong leadership, communication, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
