Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring experienced Automotive Interior Trim Design Engineers for a leading Product Development project. The role involves working on New Product Development (NPD) projects handling interior trim commodities. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Hands-on design and development of automotive Interior Trim components using CATIA V5/V6. • Work on New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept through development. • Independently handle Interior Trim commodities throughout the product lifecycle. • Analyze requirements and develop parts strictly adhering to design rules, standards, and project specifications. • Create and manage 2D and 3D drawings with robust application of GD&T. • Evaluate design feasibility, tooling, assembly, and manufacturing processes. • Collaborate dynamically across different engineering streams according to project needs. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. • Experience: 4 to 10 years of automotive design experience. • Must have completed at least 1 NPD project. • Strong hands-on proficiency in CATIA V5/V6. • Solid knowledge of GD&T, 2D/3D drawing creation, and product design & manufacturing processes. • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and team-oriented mindset. • Preferred Skills: 3DX / Teamcenter, Interior Trims, NPD, GD&T, Automotive Product Development.
