Role & Company / Project Overview: Virtual Simutech is hiring Automotive Design Engineers specializing in plastic product design for their Chennai location. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Execute plastic product design for automotive interior and exterior components. - Design and develop plastic trim components including IP (Instrument Panel), DP (Door Panel), Center Console, Bumpers, Map Pockets, and other automotive plastic parts. - Perform 3D CAD modeling and design using CATIA V5 in compliance with automotive industry standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in automotive plastic product design. - In-depth design experience with automotive interior and exterior plastic trims. - Specific component experience in IP, DP, Center Console, Bumper, Map Pocket, and related plastic assemblies. - Strong proficiency in CATIA V5 software. - Only candidates with relevant experience are requested to apply.
