Role & Company / Project Overview: SCares Services Pvt Ltd is hiring a dedicated Junior Engineer – STP to join the Operations Team in Chennai. The role focuses on end-to-end operation, maintenance, and upkeep of Sewage Treatment Plants. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Operate and maintain STP equipment and machinery. • Monitor treatment processes and plant performance. • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. • Maintain wastewater quality and detailed operational records. • Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond promptly to operational emergencies. • Ensure full compliance with environmental, statutory, and safety standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in STP maintenance. • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. • In-depth practical knowledge of STP operations and equipment maintenance. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Familiarity with MS Office and mobile-based operational applications. • Sound understanding of workplace safety and environmental regulations.
