Role & Company / Project Overview: LISAINEX is hiring for a full-time Bioinformatician position in Chennai/Ayappakkam. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Work on various bioinformatics and life science projects across genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metagenomics, molecular modelling, and related areas. • Perform biological data analysis, visualization, and interpretation using bioinformatics and computational tools. • Support in the development of study materials, tutorials, workshops, courses, and training programs. • Assist in research support, client projects, and scientific documentation. • Work across emerging areas including molecular docking, drug discovery, systems biology, and computational biology. • Stay updated with new tools, databases, pipelines, and methodologies in bioinformatics and life sciences. • Collaborate with the scientific and educational team for course development, content creation, and R&D activities. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Educational Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related fields. • Basic knowledge in Linux, command line, and standard bioinformatics tools. • Genuine interest and willingness to work across genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metagenomics, molecular docking, systems biology, and data analysis. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to learn, work independently, and contribute effectively as part of a collaborative team. • Freshers with a strong passion for learning as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
