Role & Company / Project Overview: Inceptra Solutions is hiring a Payments Architect with strong Banking and Payments domain experience and hands-on architecture expertise. The role involves working hands-on across application, integration, database, infrastructure, and production architecture while providing strategic technical leadership. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide end-to-end technical leadership and architectural governance across payment platforms. • Work hands-on across application architecture, system integration, database performance, infrastructure, and production architecture. • Architect high-volume, distributed, and highly available transaction processing, settlement, and reconciliation systems. • Design and implement payment messaging and modern payment processing workflows. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 10+ years of professional architecture and engineering experience. • Domain Expertise: Strong Banking and Payments domain experience; Commercial Banking Payments experience preferred. • Core Technical Skills: - Java, Spring Boot & Microservices - REST APIs, Integration & Messaging - Oracle / SQL & Database Performance - High-volume, Distributed & Highly Available Systems - Kubernetes / OpenShift & Cloud Platforms - CI/CD, Observability & Application Security • Payments Specialization: - Payment Processing Architecture - ISO 20022 & Payment Messaging - ACH, Wire, RTP, and/or SWIFT - Transaction Processing, Settlement & Reconciliation Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. • Relocation: Candidates willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC are welcome.
