• Role & Company / Project Overview: PBT Group is seeking an experienced Data Test Analyst based in Cape Town to take the lead on testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting solutions. The primary goal is to ensure data remains accurate, reliable, and fit for business use. The ideal candidate will challenge details, understand the bigger picture, and confidently bridge the gap between business operations and technology. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead and execute comprehensive testing across data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting solutions. - Perform SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and defect management. - Conduct rigorous data reconciliation and formulate end-to-end test planning. - Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and fitness for business decision-making. - Bridge communication and technical requirements between business stakeholders and technology teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 5 to 8 years of Data / QA Testing experience. - Advanced SQL proficiency (essential requirement). - Proven background in ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse testing. - Demonstrated experience in SIT, UAT, defect tracking, and defect management. - Solid capabilities in data reconciliation and test planning. - Exposure to modern cloud and analytics technologies including Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Power BI. - 2+ years of experience in a lead or coordination capacity. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. • Application Instructions: - Submit your CV or reach out via direct message to apply.
