Role & Company / Project Overview: Bow Valley Climate Management (BvCM) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our growing team. Reports to the Director. Unlike standard, run-of-the-mill service roles, this position offers hands-on exposure to a highly diverse project portfolio where your expertise and input actually matter. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Serve as a key field representative delivering refrigeration and air conditioning service and mechanical solutions across client facilities. • Handle hands-on service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation across a diverse project portfolio. • Provide input and test out practical ideas to improve service workflows and company growth. • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through aligned, top-tier technical workmanship. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Certified Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic qualification. • Proven relevant experience in commercial/residential refrigeration and AC systems. • Strong problem-solving, mechanical diagnostic, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently along a service route and represent the company professionally. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Job Type: Full-Time. • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to work longer hours when required. • Location: Hybrid Route covering Bow Valley & Greater Calgary Area (Head office/shop located at Unit 802, 743 Railway Ave., Canmore, AB).
