Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: An international Freight Forwarding firm in Cairo, Egypt is hiring a dedicated Collection Accountant to oversee customer credit collections and payment recovery. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct active customer follow-up to secure timely collection of outstanding balances. • Track overdue accounts, payment commitments, and overall debt recovery operations. • Maintain detailed logs of client communications and follow-up activities. • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve collection barriers and dispute claims. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 3 to 5 years of Collections or Accounts Receivable experience. • Strong experience in customer follow-up, payment tracking, and collection activities. • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Transportation is highly preferred. • Good knowledge of accounting/ERP software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail. • Ability to handle high-pressure scenarios and meet targets. • Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
