Role & Company / Project Overview: A leading NVOCC / Shipping Agency is looking for a motivated NVOCC Accountant to join their growing team in the shipping industry. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Handle daily accounting transactions and financial entries. • Prepare invoices and actively follow up on customer accounts. • Prepare, issue, and follow up on Statement of Account (SOA) with customers. • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records. • Follow up on freight charges, port expenses, and shipping-related costs. • Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, port departments, and internal teams. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 0 - 2 years in shipping accounting / NVOCC (freshers eligible). • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. • Good working knowledge of accounting principles and shipping transactions. • Practical experience dealing with customers, shipping lines, and port departments. • Good understanding of Statement of Account (SOA) and account reconciliation. • Good command of the English language. • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel. • Strong follow-up, communication, and interpersonal skills.
