• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer – OpenShift & Cilium / eBPF for our client in Budapest. This is a hands-on role tailored for engineers who love going deep into Kubernetes networking, running OpenShift platforms, and owning the networking layer. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Run and manage Red Hat OpenShift platforms end-to-end. - Own and operate the container networking layer. - Architect, operate, and maintain Kubernetes environments. - Implement and support container networking solutions (CNI, OVN-Kubernetes, Cilium, eBPF). - Automate infrastructure, deployments, and configurations using Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps workflows. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Senior-level Red Hat OpenShift engineering and administration expertise. - In-depth Kubernetes architecture and operations experience. - Solid background in container networking, specifically CNI and OVN-Kubernetes. - Practical experience with Cilium and eBPF (Isovalent Enterprise experience is a strong advantage/big plus). - Proven proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps. - Technology Stack: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Cilium, eBPF, Isovalent, OVN-Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitOps. - Fluent English communication skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Budapest, Hungary. - Work format: To be agreed. - Engagement type: Contract basis. • Compensation & Benefits - Hourly rate contract engagement (rate to be specified by candidate upon application). • Application Instructions - Apply via the application link or submit your CV along with your desired hourly rate.
