Role & Company / Project Overview: Novozen is hiring a Design Engineer – CAD for a contract role in Brooklyn Center, MN, focused on component design and mechanical drafting in medical or precision manufacturing. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Create and modify complex 3D CAD models and 2D mechanical drawings. • Perform comprehensive plastic part design adhering to standard molding practices. • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) according to ASME standards. • Conduct detailed tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure fit, form, and functionality. • Manage design files, revisions, and engineering data within PTC Windchill. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Demonstrated experience in CAD modeling and drafting. • Proficiency in GD&T and performing tolerance stack-up analysis. • Experience with PTC Windchill PLM / PDM software. • Strong background in plastic part design.
