Job description
PolyTALENT GmbH is recruiting a Teamleiter Spritzguss / Kunststofftechnik (m/w/d) for a high-growth industrial manufacturing company in Bergedorf, Hamburg, Germany. This key operational leadership role is responsible for directing injection molding production, developing production staff, and optimizing processes around quality, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of approximately 20 employees in the injection molding department. - Overall responsibility for injection molding manufacturing, including polyurethane (PU) foaming and tool maintenance. - Ensure output target achievement, quality standards, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness in daily operations using shopfloor management and SQDGM KPIs. - Initiate and implement lean projects for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, capacity utilization, and workforce planning. - Oversee new tooling projects from initial technical specification through sampling and trial runs. - Monitor KPIs in the Arburg control system and process shop floor work orders within ERP (preferably SAP). Qualifications & Requirements: - Degree in Plastics Technology, Production Engineering, or technical training as a Process Mechanic for Plastics/Rubber, Toolmaker, or Master/Technician (m/w/d). - Leadership experience as Team Leader Injection Molding, Shift Supervisor Plastics Technology, or Production Manager Injection Molding. - Deep knowledge of plastics processing, injection molding, and industrial production workflows. - Hands-on expertise in lean management, shopfloor management, and KPI-driven production management. - Experience with Arburg injection molding machines, Wittmann handling systems, MS Office, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
