PolyTALENT GmbH is recruiting a Teamleiter Konstruktion für Abwassertechnik (m/w/d) for a fast-growing partner in Aarbergen, Hesse, Germany. This responsible leadership position focuses on leading mechanical engineering teams, product standardization, and design engineering for wastewater treatment systems and plants. Key Responsibilities: - Technical and organizational leadership of the engineering/construction team in wastewater technology and plant engineering. - Development and design of machinery and systems, including scrapers, screens, screenings treatment, shut-off devices, and piping systems. - Technical dimensioning and calculation of components and systems (hydraulics, flow rate, throughput capacity, loads, weights). - Maintain, develop, and standardize existing design tools and CAD construction guidelines. - Build parametric variant constructions through reuse of proven component assemblies and optimize existing products for modern manufacturing. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as the Machinery Directive and ATEX guidelines in close collaboration with sales, product management, and manufacturing. Qualifications & Requirements: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or vocational training as a Mechanical Engineering Technician (m/w/d). - Several years of experience in special machine construction, plant engineering, or water/wastewater treatment. - Practical leadership experience with an engineering team (e.g., as Team Lead, Head of Design, or Senior Design Engineer). - Proficient in 3D/2D CAD software, ideally Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, and Autodesk Vault. - Good understanding of calculation, product standardization, and design for manufacturing; fluent German and English skills.
