Role & Company / Project Overview: Aegan Technologies is hiring for the role of Process Coach - Medical Coding (Ancillary Coding) in Bengaluru. The Process Coach will support training, coaching, and quality improvement initiatives within the Ancillary Coding team, onboarding new coders, monitoring trainee performance, providing structured feedback, and ensuring adherence to client-specific coding guidelines and quality standards. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Deliver comprehensive training programs on Medical Coding concepts, coding guidelines, and client-specific requirements for new hires. • Monitor trainee productivity and quality performance against defined OJT glide paths and ramp-up targets. • Conduct coaching sessions and provide structured, actionable feedback to improve coding accuracy and efficiency. • Educate trainees on client specifications, coding standards, and operational processes. • Facilitate training on the latest updates in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and industry coding guidelines. • Perform one-on-one coaching sessions to address recurring coding errors and performance gaps. • Effectively communicate Quality Control (QC) feedback and corrective actions to trainees. • Partner with Team Leads and Quality teams to drive continuous performance improvement. • Track trainee progress and provide regular updates on productivity, quality, and readiness for deployment. • Support early confirmation and successful transition of trainees by providing meaningful performance assessments. • Develop and implement innovative coaching and learning strategies to enhance knowledge retention and performance outcomes. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 3 to 5 years of experience in Medical Coding with strong exposure to Ancillary (Outpatient) Coding. • Mandatory Certification: CPC / CCS / COC / AHIMA. • Proven experience in training, mentoring, coaching, and developing coding professionals. • Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to analyze quality trends and deliver focused coaching interventions. • Experience working with productivity and quality metrics. • Education: Graduate in any discipline. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. • Onsite operational role.
