Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Seeking a motivated Research Assistant to support an ongoing academic research project in the context of Bangladesh, with the objective of producing a peer-reviewed journal or conference paper. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Conduct literature reviews and summarize key research papers. - Collect, organize, and analyze data; prepare tables and figures. - Help draft and edit manuscript sections. - Manage references using citation tools (Zotero / Mendeley) and follow journal formatting guidelines. - Meet regularly with the lead researcher and deliver assigned tasks on time. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant discipline. - Strong written English and academic reading capabilities. - Basic data analysis skills (Excel required; Python, R, or MATLAB is a plus). - Familiarity with research databases and indexing systems including Google Scholar, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. - High attention to detail and proven reliability with deadlines. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Work Arrangement: Remote, Part-time. - Commitment: Approximately 3-4 months, 8-10 hours per week. • Compensation & Benefits - Co-authorship opportunity, subject to substantial contribution based on ICMJE criteria. - Hands-on research and academic publication experience. - Reference letter provided upon successful completion. • Application Instructions - Submit a CV, a short statement of interest (maximum 200 words), and one academic writing sample to the designated application email by 15 December 2026.
