Job description

• Role & Company / Project Overview: Urgent hiring for an Application Support Engineer to support an eKYC solution for a prominent banking client based in Bangi, Malaysia. This is a contractual engagement open exclusively to Malaysian candidates. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Support the implementation and BAU (Business As Usual) operations of an eKYC application. - Work closely with the eKYC vendor on technical requirements, solution design, and troubleshooting. - Manage application deployment across SIT, UAT, PROD, and DR environments. - Create and execute SIT test cases and provide support during UAT. - Provide 2nd-level production support and troubleshoot complex application issues. - Coordinate Performance, Penetration, and DR testing activities. - Support CI/CD, release management, and implementation workflows. - Collaborate with IT Security on security hardening and key management activities. - Manage change requests, conduct impact analysis, and prepare detailed technical documentation. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in Application Support or Software Engineering. - Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, deployment, and production support. - Proven experience working with external vendors and cross-functional IT teams. - Solid knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and application change management. - Prior experience in eKYC, KYC, or banking applications. - Candidate must be a Malaysian citizen. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia. - Employment Type: Contract basis. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Role closes urgently by Monday, 5 October 2026.
