Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in HRP Testing and EDI transactions, particularly EDI 834 and EDI 837. The ideal candidate should possess solid experience in test data preparation, SQL/MySQL, test execution, defect management, Jira, and client communications, along with a deep understanding of healthcare and insurance business processes. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for HRP applications and workflows. • Test and validate EDI 834 (Enrollment and Maintenance) transactions. • Test and validate EDI 837 (Healthcare Claims) transactions. • Prepare and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data. • Perform backend data validation and troubleshooting using SQL/MySQL queries. • Validate EDI files, business rules, system outputs, and transaction flows. • Execute test cases and document test results and defects. • Log, track, and manage defects using Jira. • Participate in defect triage and collaborate closely with developers and business teams for resolution. • Prepare test execution reports, daily/weekly status reports, and defect reports. • Communicate testing status, risks, issues, and dependencies to clients and stakeholders. • Support UAT and production validation activities when required. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 4 to 12 years of overall experience (4 to 8 years in Software QA/Testing, preferably in the healthcare domain). • Strong hands-on experience in HRP Testing. • Strong knowledge of EDI 834 and EDI 837 transactions. • Solid understanding of healthcare payer/insurance processes, enrollment, eligibility, and claims. • Extensive experience in test case preparation, test data preparation, and test execution. • Hands-on experience with SQL/MySQL for backend data validation. • Experience utilizing Jira for defect tracking and test management. • Proven experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing. • Good understanding of EDI file validation and transaction processing. • Excellent client communication and stakeholder management capabilities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Mandatory Skills: HRP Testing, EDI 834, EDI 837, SQL/MySQL, Test Data Preparation, Test Execution, Jira, Client Communication.
