• Role & Company / Project Overview: STS Oman is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Design based in Bangalore, India, catering to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, and Process industries. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead mechanical engineering and design activities - Prepare and review mechanical datasheets, equipment specifications, MTOs, equipment schedules, and vendor documents - Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, model reviews, and technical workshops - Coordinate with procurement, vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams - Provide technical support during fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases - Ensure complete compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Experience: 8–15 years of industry experience - Strong experience in mechanical engineering and design of process packages and skid-mounted systems - Experience with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, valves, and rotating equipment - Experience in detailed engineering, FEED review, vendor coordination, and project execution - Solid knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API, TEMA, ANSI, ASTM, ISO, and NACE - Proficiency in PV Elite, Codeware Compress, and MS Office - Experience working with EPC contractors and Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects - Strong technical, analytical, leadership, and client-facing skills • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India - Industry: Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Energy / Process Industries • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should submit their CV via email mentioning “Senior Mechanical Engineer – Bangalore” in the subject line.
