Role & Company / Project Overview: Mahindra Last Mile Mobility is immediately hiring an experienced professional for the position of BIW DE Lead in Bangalore. This is a senior engineering and procurement leadership role. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead BIW (Body in White) component development • Oversee strategic sourcing and vendor development initiatives • Manage RFQ processes, quotation analysis, and techno-commercial evaluations • Supervise development and sourcing for sheet metal, stamping, and tubular parts • Handle skin panels, panel dies, and welding fixtures engineering and procurement • Lead supplier nomination and tooling development activities • Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and evaluate manufacturing feasibility • Drive cost optimization programs and ensure efficient project management throughout execution Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 12 to 18 years of relevant automotive engineering and sourcing experience • Strong expertise in BIW components, stamping, sheet metal, tubular parts, skin panels, panel dies, and welding fixtures • Proven track record in supplier nomination, tooling development, DFM reviews, and cost optimization • Educational qualification in relevant engineering branch/specialization • Immediate joiners preferred Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Application Instructions: • Interested candidates should share their updated resume with details including Total Experience, Current Company, Current Designation, Educational Qualification, Engineering Branch/Specialization, Current CTC, Expected CTC, Notice Period, and Current Location to the provided email address with the subject line 'Application – BIW DE Lead'
