Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a skilled and experienced PCB Design Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. This role is responsible for multi-layer PCB design, schematic development, and end-to-end hardware layout execution. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop and maintain schematics using Cadence Capture CIS or equivalent tools. • Design multi-layer PCBs using Cadence Allegro. • Create and maintain PCB footprints, symbols, and component libraries. • Perform component placement, routing, stack-up definition, and design optimization. • Execute DRC, ERC, and layout verification. • Generate Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing documentation. • Apply EMI/EMC, signal integrity, power integrity, and DFM principles. • Support PCB prototyping, design reviews, ECR/ECO, and product releases. • Develop basic Python scripts for design automation and workflow improvement. • Coordinate with hardware engineers, fabrication vendors, and assembly teams. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 5–8 Years of relevant experience. • Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, CAD Engineering, B.Sc. (Electronics/Physics), or equivalent engineering/science degree. • Required Skills: - Cadence Allegro PCB Designer - Cadence Capture CIS - Allegro Constraint Manager - Valor DFM / NPI tools or equivalent - Multi-layer PCB layout and schematic capture - PCB stack-up and manufacturing knowledge - High-speed design fundamentals - EMI/EMC and power/ground plane design - Basic Python scripting - Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581, BOM, and manufacturing outputs • Preferred Skills: - Allegro SKILL scripting, TCL, or Perl - PLM/PDM systems and design release processes - PCB fabrication, assembly, and testing - SI/PI and constraint-driven PCB design • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: Full-time role located on-site in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. • Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on current CTC, expected CTC, and candidate experience. • Application Instructions: Send your updated resume to the contact email with Email Subject: 'PCB design'.
