Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant for a permanent position based in Bangalore. The role involves managing SAP system administration, upgrades, migrations, and production support across SAP ABAP and JAVA systems in hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide comprehensive SAP system administration and end-to-end production support. • Perform SAP upgrades and migrations across ABAP & JAVA stacks in hybrid environments. • Execute System Copy, System Refresh, and Database Refresh activities. • Implement Support Packages and execute EHP upgrades. • Handle hands-on maintenance and migration tasks using SUM and DMO tools. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience as a Technology Consultant – SAP BASIS. • Demonstrated strong expertise in SAP system administration and production support. • Hands-on exposure to Software Update Manager (SUM) and Database Migration Option (DMO). • Proven experience with EHP upgrades and Support Package implementations. • Solid exposure to System Copy, System Refresh, and DB Refresh activities. • Prior experience working with SAP systems operating in hybrid environments.
