Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced Principal Engineer – Civil with deep domain expertise in Overhead Transmission Line and Transmission Tower Design to work on major power transmission projects. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead and perform Transmission Tower Design and Foundation Design for 400kV and 765kV transmission line projects. • Carry out precise Tower Spotting using PLS-CADD. • Conduct detailed Tower Loading, Sag & Tension Calculations, and Clearance Checks. • Perform structural analysis, tower modelling, and comprehensive design assessments. • Execute foundation design and critical engineering calculations in accordance with international standards. • Work extensively with AutoCAD and integrate Plan & Profile and LiDAR data where applicable. • Manage multidisciplinary coordination across teams and handle client and stakeholder relationships on international projects. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 14+ years of professional experience in Civil / Overhead Transmission Engineering. • Proven track record in 400kV & 765kV Transmission Line projects. • Strong hands-on expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-TOWER software suites. • In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes, IEC, and other international engineering codes and standards. • Required proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with LiDAR data processing is an advantage. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. • Demonstrated success collaborating with international teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
