Role & Company / Project Overview: Astranova Dynamics is hiring a Data Scientist / AI Engineer (GenAI & ML) for its AI / Digital Transformation team in Bangalore. In this role, you will apply data science, ML, GenAI, and agentic AI to transform business processes, automate knowledge-intensive work, and deliver measurable outcomes across BPM operations. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Partner with business, BPM, operations, product, and technology teams to identify and prioritize AI opportunities • Analyze operational and process data to uncover bottlenecks, shape solutions, and establish measurable outcomes • Build and productionize ML products (classification, prediction, forecasting, anomaly detection, process optimization) • Design and deliver GenAI products (document processing, knowledge assistants, summarization, workflow copilots) • Build grounded LLM applications using RAG, semantic search, embeddings, and structured outputs • Develop agentic workflows that use tools, APIs, and enterprise data, with appropriate guardrails and human review • Integrate AI products with enterprise systems, BPM platforms, data sources, and APIs • Evaluate and improve model and product quality (accuracy, grounding, reliability, safety, latency, and cost) • Monitor production performance, investigate issues, and iterate based on user feedback and business results • Apply responsible AI practices (data privacy, access controls, explainability, and human oversight) • Document solutions and share reusable components and delivery practices with the wider team Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of experience in data science, AI/ML engineering, or a related applied AI role • Proven track record of delivering both machine learning and Generative AI products in production, including deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement • Strong Python skills and deep experience with data and ML libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow • Hands-on experience building and productionizing LLM applications, including prompt design/engineering, tool calling, structured outputs, and evaluation • Experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, or other methods for grounding LLM responses in enterprise or domain-specific data • Solid foundations in machine learning, statistics, data preparation, and model evaluation • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, SQL, and REST APIs or equivalent integrations • Knowledge of Agentic AI workflows, APIs, and enterprise integrations • Ability to explain technical trade-offs and communicate results clearly to business and technical stakeholders Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India • Full-time engagement with the AI / Digital Transformation team Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive compensation matching industry standards for 4+ years experience Application Instructions: • Send your updated resume to the designated application email or reach out via phone for details.
