Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Lead AI Engineer to join the core AI engineering team and build production-grade AI solutions for an insurance technology platform. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead and build production-grade AI solutions for the platform • Develop AI Agents, function calling capabilities, and agentic workflows • Build Document AI pipelines for classification, extraction, and summarization • Design prompts, structured outputs, evaluations, and safety guardrails • Handle AI observability, optimization, and root-cause analysis • Implement system design, ensure scalability, and oversee production AI delivery • Provide team mentoring and engineering leadership Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 6–10 Years of experience • Notice Period: Only serving candidates with 20–30 days notice • Strong hands-on Python & Applied AI/ML expertise • Production-grade experience with LLMs & Generative AI • Hands-on experience with AI Agents, Function Calling & Agentic Workflows • Document AI experience (classification, extraction & summarization) • Expertise in Prompt Engineering, Structured Outputs, Evaluation & Guardrails • Experience in AI Observability, Optimization & Root-Cause Analysis • Experience with Azure AI, Microsoft Foundry & Azure OpenAI • Familiarity with LangGraph / Semantic Kernel / Microsoft Agent Framework or similar • Working knowledge of OpenAI / Anthropic Claude or comparable foundation models • Experience with REST APIs, Asynchronous Processing & PostgreSQL • Hands-on with Git, Docker, CI/CD, Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions • Experience with AI-assisted development (Claude Code / GitHub Copilot) • Proven track record in System Design, Scalability & Production AI Delivery • Strong Team Mentoring & Engineering Leadership capabilities • Good to Have: Enterprise workflow experience and Insurance domain knowledge Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bangalore (Work from Office) • Shift: General Shift | 11 AM – 8 PM Application Instructions: • Interested candidates who fit the requirement can DM or share their updated CV via email.
