Role & Company / Project Overview: GenPsych is hiring a Safety Officer to join our compassionate mental health and recovery team in Avenel, New Jersey. GenPsych provides advanced behavioral healthcare programs and is expanding dedicated staff to support healing and a safe clinical environment. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Maintain a secure, supportive, and safe environment for clients, visitors, and clinical staff. • Monitor facility premises, manage access control, and respond promptly to emergency or de-escalation situations. • Support clinical and administrative teams in maintaining facility compliance and safety protocols. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Relevant security, safety, or mental health facility safety experience. • Strong de-escalation, observational, and interpersonal communication skills. • Commitment to working in a compassionate mental health and recovery environment. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Avenel, New Jersey. • Onsite clinical facility position.
