• Role & Company / Project Overview Arytic is recruiting an experienced Network Engineer III – Cloud & Network Security to support enterprise network modernization and security initiatives for their client, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). This is a 12-month contract engagement. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design and govern enterprise firewall and network security architectures. - Implement network segmentation, secure routing, and defense-in-depth controls. - Support hybrid on-premises and multi-cloud networking environments. - Strengthen firewall policies, access controls, and enterprise security standards. - Enable secure application migration to cloud platforms. - Provide senior-level technical guidance on network security and infrastructure modernization. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 8 to 12 years of enterprise network engineering experience. - Strong expertise in firewall architecture, network security, routing, and segmentation. - Hands-on experience working with hybrid and multi-cloud networking environments. - Deep knowledge of enterprise security controls and network governance frameworks. - Strong technical documentation and verbal/written communication skills. - Preferred Cloud Platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Preferred Experience: Texas state agency or TxDOT experience; Texas DIR Shared Technology Services (STS); government security standards and compliance frameworks; cloud migration and application modernization initiatives. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Austin, Texas, United States (Onsite 4–5 days per week). - Duration: 12-Month Contract. - Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. • Compensation & Benefits - Competitive contract rate commensurate with experience. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should submit their updated resume via email or DM, including current location and availability.
