• Role & Company / Project Overview A well-established commercial landscaping, snow removal, and construction company in Aurora, IL is seeking 1 to 2 full-time, year-round Diesel Mechanics for its shop operations. The shop manages a diverse fleet of over 200+ light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and vehicles, along with more than 300+ pieces of equipment including lawn and snow equipment, Bobcats, small engines, and trailers. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform comprehensive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a fleet of 200+ light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. - Conduct diesel engine diagnostics and preventive maintenance (PM) across all fleet assets. - Service, repair, and maintain over 300+ pieces of lawn/snow equipment, small engines, Bobcats, and trailers. - Maintain high standards of shop safety, tool accountability, and equipment turnaround. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Required Experience: Proven diesel engine diagnostics and preventive maintenance (PM) experience. - License Requirement: Valid Illinois (IL) driver's license is required. - Language Skills: Bilingual candidates are preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Schedule: Full-time, year-round position. - Work Days & Shifts: Monday through Friday, 1st shift. - Overtime: Overtime is available. - Location: Shop based in Aurora, Illinois. • Compensation & Benefits - Pay Rate: $26 to $35 per hour. - Pay Schedule: Paid weekly on Fridays. - Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits. • Application Instructions - Apply via text message by texting the keyword to the hiring contact number.
