Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an Oracle ADF Developer for a C2C and W2 contract position based in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on comprehensive application modernization, including upgrading Oracle ADF applications, Java runtime migration, and WebLogic middleware environment upgrades for mission-critical enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Upgrade Oracle ADF Faces, ADF Business Components (BC), task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments to WebLogic 14.1.2.x. • Remediate deprecated APIs, handle javax to jakarta namespace migration, manage JAXB/JTA changes, and upgrade enterprise Java applications from JDK 8 to Java 21 / GraalVM. • Manage and troubleshoot WebLogic 12c and 14c administration, deployment troubleshooting, JVM tuning (including G1GC and ZGC), SSL/TLS 1.3 compatibility, and OCI-based deployments. • Upgrade, reconfigure, and validate REST and SOAP web service integrations, Jersey migration (1.x/2.x to 3.x), SFTP/SSH integrations, Quartz scheduler, MyBatis, and enterprise middleware components. • Conduct thorough regression testing, performance benchmarking, UAT bug fixing, and provide production support for mission-critical HR or financial applications in hybrid work environments. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong Oracle ADF upgrade experience (ADF 12c to ADF 14c). • Hands-on expertise upgrading Oracle ADF Faces, ADF BC, task flows, bindings, and WebLogic deployments. • Java Modernization Expertise transitioning from JDK 8 to Java 21 / GraalVM, including javax to jakarta migration and JAXB/JTA adjustments. • Deep WebLogic and middleware migration experience across WebLogic 12c/14c, JVM tuning (G1GC/ZGC), SSL/TLS 1.3, webservice architecture, and OCI deployments. • Integration and API upgrade proficiency with REST/SOAP, Jersey (1.x/2.x to 3.x), SFTP/SSH, Quartz scheduler, and MyBatis. • Solid background in enterprise application support, testing mindset, regression testing, and performance benchmarking on HR/financial applications.
