Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join an internal application development team responsible for designing and building custom enterprise applications that integrate directly with SAP systems. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Develop internal applications utilizing Java and Spring Boot frameworks. - Design and implement scalable services within event-driven architectures. - Build standalone applications integrating smoothly with SAP systems. - Work hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud infrastructure and cloud services. - Collaborate closely with software architects, engineers, and offshore delivery teams. - Actively contribute to multiple upcoming technical projects across the organization. - Utilize Jenkins and GitHub for CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and version control. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Experience Level: 7 to 10 years of total software engineering experience. - 5 to 7+ years of dedicated hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. - Proven hands-on experience designing and working with Event-Driven Architecture. - Demonstrated SAP integration experience combined with a solid understanding of core supply chain concepts. - 2+ years of GCP/Cloud experience preferred. - Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and autonomously. - Proven capability to quickly grasp existing architecture and start contributing productively within days. - Must be able to start on 1 week notice. - Interview process consists of a 1-hour technical interview with the client. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Work Model: Onsite Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. - Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (Local candidates only). - Contract Type: W2 Contract (Duration: 6+ Months). • Application Instructions - Interested local candidates who meet all criteria should submit their updated resume for immediate consideration.
