• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for a skilled Developer to contribute to a long-term maritime research project focused on developing and maintaining trial execution software for a tow truck system at the Maritime Research Centre in Ostend. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging software solutions - Implement new functionalities - Ensure professional software version management in close collaboration with the team and clients • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Strong experience in C# and Python - Experience in GUI development and application development - Software design, implementation, testing, and debugging - Knowledge of software versioning and Jira - Experience with Agile development methodologies - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English - Nice to have: LabVIEW - Nice to have: Embedded software development - Nice to have: Data acquisition and electronics - Nice to have: Qt framework - Nice to have: Knowledge of computer hardware, components, and LAN networks - Nice to have: Interest in the maritime industry • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Antwerp, Belgium (initially onsite in Ostend) - Duration: 02/11/2026 – 01/11/2027 - Work Regime: Full-time | Hybrid | 2–3 days onsite • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified • Application Instructions - Please share your updated CV to the designated contact email.
